Nezam Ardalan, MA
Nezam Ardalan is a graduate of Pacifica Graduate Institute with an MA in Counseling Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, and Depth Psychology, and currently holds an AMFT in the state of California. As a student of Tibetan Buddhism and having completed the 2-year training in Contemplative Psychotherapy from the Nalanda Institute, Nezam draws from Buddhist Psychology and Buddhist belief systems to support his work. As a Certified Hakomi Practitioner (CHP), he also draws from his training in The Hakomi Method, a mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy, rooted in Buddhist and Western psychotherapeutic principles. Nezam finds the intersections between Eastern and Western psychology fascinating and believes understanding the roots of these systems, along with how they complement and supplement each other, to be meaningful and impactful in how we engage with ourselves and others.
