Izzy (Israel) Gliksberg, MM, MA, is a psychotherapist, educator, and interdisciplinary scholar working at the intersection of depth psychology, religious studies, and the arts. He holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, where his graduate work engaged Jungian and psychodynamic thought in dialogue with Jewish mysticism and Western esotericism. Prior to his formal psychological training, Izzy studied for many years in traditional Yeshiva settings until the age of 21, an experience that continues to inform his engagement with symbolic systems and the psychology of religious imagination.

Izzy practices as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in depth-oriented clinical settings. He has worked at Sacred Path Counseling since 2023 and joined The Center of Depth and Relationship in 2025. His clinical interests include personality disorders, trauma, attachment and identity formation.

Izzy has been a music composer and performer for the past 2 decades, composing music for films and TV shows, and leading the Indie band Late Sea in the 2010’s. Izzy has occasionally lectured at Manhattan School of Music and has received several awards for his creative work, including the Nathan C. Davis International Prize in Composition, grants from the AICF, and the KSF Artist of Choice Award.
