Dr. Bennett is a licensed psychologist in private practice in Santa Barbara, California. He is also a professor at Pacifica Graduate Institute who teaches classes on theory and applications of psychotherapy, psychological assessment, psychoanalytic theory, and post-Jungian theory for Pacifica’s doctoral and master’s programs. Last year he published Integrated Analytical Psychology: Return to Freedom and Dignity, in which he proposed an integrative model of psychoanalytic and Jungian models of personality.

His additional interests include psychological assessment, philosophical foundations of psychology, and the psychology of digital experience and AI. He is a returned Peace Corps Volunteer (Poland III, 1991–1994).
