Live CE Webinar Open for Registration
Course Description
This course offers an in-depth exploration of Leigh McCloskey’s Tarot Revisioned, a visionary reimagining of the Tarot as an archetypal language of the soul rather than a system of divination. Through McCloskey’s intricate, symbol-rich artworks and commentaries, students will engage the Tarot as a living mandala of consciousness, tracing its alchemical, mythological, and Jungian dimensions. Emphasis will be placed on how McCloskey’s work illuminates the Tarot as a dynamic tool for self-reflection, creative awakening, and the deepening of imaginal intelligence.
Curricular Notes
AION 413 serves the curriculum by cultivating direct imaginal literacy—the capacity to think, feel, and orient psychologically through image rather than concept. Within the AION architecture, this course reasserts the primacy of visual-symbolic intelligence at a stage where clinicians have already engaged theory, ethics, lineage, and transformation. Its function is not interpretive mastery of Tarot nor training in symbolic technique, but the rehabilitation of the image itself as a primary mode of psychological knowing. By engaging a contemporary re-visioning rather than a traditional system, the course emphasizes that archetypal language is alive, generative, and continually renewed through creative imagination.
At the advanced level, clinicians must be able to encounter psyche without immediately translating image into explanation. AION 413 supports this maturation by strengthening the ability to remain in image, resonance, and symbol—capacities essential for dream work, reverie, ethical humility, and sustained depth engagement.
Please note that the instructor for this course is not a clinician, and this course is not eligible for CE credit.
